Mzke Reagan Steve Shawler ferry Stevem Fred Stiler ST. jOHN'S SCALPED IN HOMECOMING, '32-O The Indians left the reservation and got slapped down on Judson's home field in the very first Home- coming game in judson's history. In an awesome dis- play of power, the Cougars sent their fine backs again and again across the Indians' goal line. St. johnls was kept bottled up constantly deep in its own territory by the fierce defense of the Cougar line, and twice Indian backs were caught in their own end zone. The homestanding footballers scored the first time they got their hands on the ball and added points in every quarter. SETON STONED, 21-7 Seton brought its undefeated, highly regarded Sen- tinels to Judsonland for the season finale and the showdown battle for the Class B Independent cham- pionship. Judson was not to be denied and came away from the game with a victory, its first win over Seton in three tries, and a state title. The Cougars started fast with two quick rallies in the first quarter, added another in the second frame, and led Zl-O at halftime. With four minutes remaining in the game, Seton tossed into the end zone and converted for its only score.
