BLACK SEA LTJ G Taylor narrated the trip through the Dardenalles and the Bosphorus on our Way to the Black Sea. All along the Way, castles and cities filled the landscape. One of the most impressive sights was the city of Istanbul, with all of her mosques and palaces, highlighted by the Sultanahmet Camii CThe Blue Mosquel. The Bosphorus is one of the more beautiful views to behold. The Bosphorus wound around the tree clad hills of both Asian and European sides. The climax ofthe trip occurred when We passed under the bridge that spans the two continents of Europe and Asia. The suspension bridge is the newest sight along the Bosphorus, is the largest in Europe and one of the longest in the World. As dusk settled upon us, we finally emerged into the Black Sea to begin our five day trip with the SAMPSON. ' 54
