GAYLORD OE DIVISION OFFICER OE DIVISIO V Although known as TWidgets and kidded often about the status of their gear, OE Division has done a tremendous job in all phases of maintenance on JOE STRAUSS electronic equipment. Compar- ing the record with other ships, OE has done Well based on the number of day's they've kept the 4O radar in commission. The ET's work is some of the most technical on the ship. It's importance can be seen by the fact that without their 5 equipment functioning smoothly JOE STRAUSS would have no capability for operating safely in foul Weather or receiving any early Warning of approaching ships or aircraft.
