Their hands covered with grime and their faces with sweat, they see the light of day only rarely. For five months they steamed without respite, helping us meet every planned commitment and every contingency. Every ounce of will that could be coaxed out of the old machines was obtained. For the Engineering Department, the Med cruise was a triumph.
