SHIP ' S PICNIC On May 5th. the ship held a picnic on base for all crew members and their families. It was a very informal affair in which sailors could introduce their spouses and children to other crew members and to the Captain. CDR NELSON. It was also a time to eat ome great barbecued ribs and to play volleyball and horseshoes.
