For all the world is divided into two parts, those who know us, our friends, and those who have sailed with us, our crew members. We present herein our cruise book for the Mediterranean Sea Deployment of April to November 1983. It is a journal showing and relating our triumphs, good times, bad times and (at times) our loneliness, as we sailed the Med for Commander Sixth Fleet. All friends and crew members are welcomed in these pages to experience (and to remember) life at sea and our lives while deployed. Our hearts, minds and spirits made this cruise a successful and rewarding experience for all hands, and it is hoped that at least a glimmer of our pride, self respect and sense of accomplishment come through from us to you in this journal. -to $ ofhWr.
