g gg l3 MISS MARGARET COX Guidance Counselor Miss Cox has been a part of Jordan since 1941. when she began teaching biology. She became Dean of Girls in 1944- and has since assumed the posi- tion of Guidance Counselor. ln this position, Miss Cox assists students in choosing a course in study which best prepares them for their future vocation. Her willingness' to work with students and parents is one of ,Iordan's great- est assets. Mr. Strealdorf joined the faculty of Jordan Vocational High School in 1960 He taught Physical Science and Human Biology before receiving appointment as Administrative Assistant in 1962. He received his B.S. Degree at Cornell University in Ithica, New York in 1958, and is presently working towards his Masters Degree in Admin- istration at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama.

R. H. TALIAFERRO Principal Our principal, affectionately known as Mr. HT , received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oglethorpe University and Masters degree from the University of Georgia. He came to Jordan as an assistant principal and as a teacher of physics in 1945. In 1947, he assumed his present position of principal. Through his kind, sympathetic, and understanding manner, Mr. Taliaferro has won the hearts of all Jordan stu- dents. We will be forever grateful for his unselfish contributions to .l0rdan's faculty and student body. MR. D. D. TROTTER Assistant Principal Mr. Trotter joined the Jordan ad- ministration in 1952. He taught world history, electric shop, and was an ath- letic coach for seven years before be- coming assistant principal in 1959. ln this capacity, he has the oppor- tunity to deal directly with students in making appropriate schedule changes. When the occasion arose, Mr. Trotter became a firm, but fair disciplinarian.
