DEDICATIGN
Joplin High School--Yesterday, Today.-Dr. Elliff knew our high
school of Yesterday-Mr. Wood, our J. H. S. of Today. To these our past
and present leaders-the one who is still carrying on to further the cause
of education, we dedicate these records, and to him who is now directing
the growth of our schools, and upon whom rests the responsibilities of
continuing these developments and helping Joplin Senior High to keep
its place of distinction among educational institutions-we present this
book. And so, to these two educators, Dr. J. D. Elliff, Superintendent of
1900, and Superintendent Roi S, Wood of 1950, we dedicate this, our
Golden Anniversary Joplimo.
