In the good old days, there were days 3- and days --- that I was hauled in there. And in the now quiet atmosphere of the office, I sat down and began to muse. This whole school was just full of gremlinsl I could feel them everywhere! They're a tribe of pixies, you know, about a foot high, and We service men-especially pilots-believe they really exist. Gremlins behave fairly Well when all is being done well, but become devilish when things aren't handled to suit them. Sometimes, being creatures of mood and humor, they rrake life miserable for both good and bad people. MISS LAVON RILEY MISS ETHEL REED HARRY CHAMBERLAIN MISS MARGARET MITCHELL

They're real- ly a swell bunch, and a doin' more than their bit . -ASI reached the front steps, I turned back for a long, last look. It had been a struggle making the grade, but it had been fun. Many a night. lying under the stars on some South Pacilic island, never quite knowing what minute was my last, it was a comfort and a solace to know that this is worth fighting for. NORMAN J.
