This year the Future Tradesmen of America was divided into two sections. The boys who took woodshop formed their own club while the boys who took mechanics formed their own club. Both clubs are patterned after the state F.T.A., having the same constitution, aim, and club pro- gram. Because the boys who make up the auto mechanics club are interested in mechanics, they study and work on auto- mobiles. The experiences gained through their work will benefit them in later life. The woodshop division of the F.T.A. is made up of students studying woodshop. Since the class and the club are made up of the same boys, they are very closely con- N-wb nected. This year the woodshop sponsored a sale in which all proceeds went to their club. In this sale they sold all types of Furniture which they had made in shop class.
