The newly organized Readers' and Writers Club was formed for the purpose of encouraging and developing the interests and abilities of its members in written expression. Believing this type club could function better if it remains small, the club restricted membership to no more than fifteen people. This year the Future Tradesmen of America was divided into two sections. The boys who took woodshop formed their own club while the boys who took mechanics formed their own club. Both clubs are patterned after the state F.T.A., having the same constitution, aim, and club pro- gram. Because the boys who make up the auto mechanics club are interested in mechanics, they study and work on auto- mobiles. The experiences gained through their work will benefit them in later life.
