Mrs. Diggs has been an integral part of Mr. Goff's office for five suc- cessful years. Being an efficient secretary, she never has an idle mom- entg nevertheless, when she meets students in the hall, she always greets them with a cheerful hello. As there must be an organization of knowledge on the part of the student, so must there be an organization of methods whereby the student gains knowledge. At the top of this organiza- tion of methods, we observe Mr. Goff, jones- boro Public Schools Superintendent, a good and gracious gentleman, who has been in this school system for twenty-four years. He works diligently to bring the best and most recent forms of edu- cation to Mr. Goff obtained his B.S. Degree from Ar- kansas College in Batesvile, Arkansas, and his Masteris Degree from the University of Mis- souri. Active in educational organizations, Mr. Goff served as president of the Superintendents' Organization of Arkansas and is now serving as board member-at-large of the Arkansas Education Association. Always striving assiduously to complete his tasks, Mr. john Nor- red holds the office of Jonesboro Special School District Account- ant. Besides fulfilling the many tasks required of him as account- ant, he also serves as Jonesboro City Treasurer. Ara: V

'f-ll ' M School Board officers are Vance Scurlock, presidentg J. Hardy Little, vice-presidentg Al Kopert, secretaryg Lloyd Goff, superintendent of schools. The members of the Jonesboro School Board have devoted much of their own time, without remuneration to attending to the problems of the schools of Jonesboro. Under the administration of these seven civic-minded persons, many accomplish- ments have been made in the expansion and improvement of our schools. Members of the School Board are J. Hardy Little, Lloyd Goff, Vance Scurlock, Al Kopert, Gene Brown, Marvin Sanderson, and Larry Darouse.
