Various emotions or feelings for the college are associ- ated with these textures. Tradition, progress, knowledge, romance, and memories are reflections of textures with which students are acquainted. Each well-known te x t u r e may symbolize different things to different people. T he marbled halls with their grooves and cracks caused by years of wear may represent tradition to one person or knowledge to another.
