Those First Dongs . ' QQLLEG5 USN Despite the heat, the pressure and the many problems involved with regis- tration. Dean Rowley remains calm. On September 6 and '7, students once again invaded the halls of IIC to register for fall classes. The enrollment reached an all-time high of over 1000 students. Fresh- men and transfer students were on hand the following day for orientation, during which they were introduced to the organizations of JJC and were instructed in the procedures of the college. Later that day, food, a series of laughter-provoking contests and getting acquainted rnade the annual picnic at Inwood Park a good beginning for the new year. Classes began on the 9th, a nd everyone settled down for a year of a ca- demic and social activity. Hey, those eggs aren't hard - boiled, are they? Looks as if enrollment has increased quite a bit over last year s Bill Hibner comments to Larry Hawkinson and Pat Dillon as they wait in the sophomore registration line. -. .gnu-w,..A,9 1 I zlgmg ,I 1 , its 3 i L.
