V „J3 The Johnson high school band elected officers in September, 1958, as follows: president—Linda Blobaum, vice-president—Ruth Meyer, secretary-treasurer--Joyce Remmers, and news reporter— Doloris Schuette. There are fifty-two members in senior band. The band members participated in the Lincoln Band Day festivi- ties October llr 1958 and also Humboldt fair, September 11. The band parents organization helped purchase a baritone saxo- phone and a bass horn to add to the volume of the band. A spring band concert was presented to the public on April 3.
