In fact, he says that the absence of the other is beneficial, especially in cribbing. for he does not have to worry about letting his right hand know what his left is doing. Besides, he is the only man who is able to out-talk the Dean in an argument. He is the cham- pion checker player in the class. Pride yourself on sincerity, not infallibility. SCOTT S.
