10 Pep Rallies .ack Where We Belong Every Week spirited Lions gathered to show their sprit ond excitement for the upcoming gome Shouts of joy and anxiety could be heard coming from the JT gym every Friday morning during foot- ball season as the mighty Lions prepared to outdo their op- ponents. Great music was always provided by the Lion band playing songs such as Aztec Fire, and Still The majorettes added their flashy twirling to songs like I Can't Go For That and Physical The Brigadettes and officers presented a touch of jazz as they danced to l've Got the Music In Me, and String of Pearls. Special skits were provided by the cheerleaders, including an appearance of last year's cheerleaders. As the band played Big Bad John different soloists performed solos they had made up. As the pep rally drew to a close, the crowd joined together in the sing- ing of the school song. Brigadettes perform a routine to Pac Man in the Lufkin pep rally.
