Boord Approves New Buildings The School Board is the catalyst behind the Tyler Independent School System. The members of the board compose the rules and regulations that cover the behavior and attitude of all students. If the students comply with those rules, the school can be run easily and efficiently. The board approved several plans this year including the raising of cafeteria lunch prices. They also began consideration of a new field house and band hall for John Tyler.
