Artists Develop New Talents With Miss Majorie Debord leading the art department, John Tyler stu- dents were taught to gain a deeper appreciation of art. Emphasis was placed on the understanding of art styles, and the significance of values as means of expression. Science Students Learn Throuffh The science program this year in- cluded biology, chemistry, physics, and electronics. This year, for the first time, advanced classes in biology, chemistry, and electronics were offer- ed.
