SENIOR PLAY The Senior play, Growing Pains, was presented November 30, in the high school auditorium. The play was a complete success, from an artistic as well as from a financial point of view. The play dealt with a teen-age brother and sister and their friends, and showed the emotional difficulties arising during the adolescent age. The audience was highly enter- tained by Ge0rge's first taste of puppy love for Prudence, by Terry's development from a tomboy to a glamour girl, by the mother's sympathetic understanding, and by the professor father's dry humor. The climax came during a party where George, defending his girl, knocked down an officer and was taken to jail. In the last act, all diiiiculties were solved, and peace reigned in the Mclntyre household. Miss Keyes directed the production and the following teachers helped to make the play a success: Miss Erland, art and costumingg Mr. Larson, numbers by the chorus between acts, Mr. Floyd and Mr. Eyre, scenery, lighting, and sound effects, Miss Skaale, programs, and Miss Erb, financial arrangements. All members of the Senior Class sold tickets. The various committees were headed by the following students: Hazel Parreira, business and advertising, Glenn Dyer, programs, Geraldine Lawrence, ushering, Norine Nelson, properties, and Joe Longo, tickets.
