But the Wives' Auxiliary showed that although we were out of sight, we definitely weren't out of mind. With enough food and decorations to give St. Nick a hernia, the ship came alive with the spirit of the season. Our friends Vaughn and Nancy Blevins of the Adopt-a-Ship organiza- tion gave Santa a little help with the gifts, but he showed up personally in Palma to distribute them.
