Also recently refurbished prior to the deployment, the Physical Fitness Room gave everyone a place to exercise, something not abundant in the close confines aboard ship. It seems the indoor bicycles logged almost as many miles as JOHN RODGER5 did, as both fitness fanatics and those looking to trim down pumped the pedals. The Com- modore's Club, instituted by CDS-22, gave tangible incen- tives, such as T-shirts, to those who needed an extra nudge to put on the gym clothes.
