COMBAT SYSTEM OFFICER Combat S stem Officer Lieutenant Commander Gene F. Harr Presently assigned to USS JOHN PAL L JONES ( DDG 53 1 as Combat Systems Officer. Lieutenant Commander Harr is a 1985 graduate of Old Dominion Uni ersity with a Bachelor of Sciences degree. He is the son of SKCSi Ret. i Frederick and Martha Harr of Norfolk. Virginia. In his first sea tour. Lieutenant Commander Harr ser ed as Fire Control Officer and .Assistant Operations Officer in LSS B.ARNE ' (DDG 6). Following his first sea tour Lieutenant Commander Harr was transferred to the USS ' IRGINl.- iCGN 38) where he ser ed as Main Propulsion Assistant. His shore issignments include Nuclear Power School and The Naval Reactors Facility, Idaho (.AlW Prototype! as a student engineer and the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.
