From the beginning until the
school year many enjoyable dances were held stu- 5
dents. At the Howdy Hop, sponsored by li
Council to welcome all Bears, both old and
Gray and Vic Wiley were crowned as ,l.lVI.'d gigglendliest
newcomers. A massive paper mache bear towelieidfigver the
Homecoming Dance, celebrating John proud
victory. The Twist reigned supreme at the Track
staffls Christmas dinner-dance, as well as at thdignjoyable
Pep Club Dance, and to meet the challenge, own
Dance Band, the Cashmeres, perfected several tglgist num-
bers in time for the Annual Sweetheart Ball. NE the last
note died away at the Junior-Senior Prom, students looked
back on many magical moments.
Annual Belle, Nancy Dooley, proudly shows her gold
heart shaped charm to Annual Beau, Dick Tubbs, who
was presented with a gold tie tack.
"Double, double toil and troubleg
Fire burn, and caldron bubble,"
was they chant, as students brewed spirit for the coming
year.
Bear Tracks' staff members take time away from work to enjoy their dinner
dance at the Skirvin Tower Hotel.
