With us, too, steel endures and becomes part of the maturational process. USS JOHN KING KDDG-32 verified this concept when she proudly patrolled the seas during her 1982 MedfI.O. deployment: she maturated through her creative process by providing various means to stimulate the populous physically: jock strap and DC Olympics are a couple examples. For us who invigorated her during that interim, we shall always be proud. Even our families who awaited our weekly correspondence shall also remember the bitter-sweet but patience-building weeks, which slowly transformed into months. This booh shall assist us to recapture some of those moments, whether vividly or faintly- It's we!!! x
