These men, enlisted, chief, and officer alike, with their diligence and hard Work, made a successful and safe cruise possible. They are the men who givegthe ship a character, a personality all her own. They are JOHN KING. Y . D D The members of this unique crew shared .much in common. They sailed together, complained together, got drunk together, partied together, and most important of all, returned home together. ln the face of many an adversity, as well as during the good times, they were somehow bound together as one. From the firerooms to the signal bridge, from the forecastle to the fantail, they have worked as a team.
