A Special Kind Of Class John Hay is fortunate in providing facilities for a special kind of class for orthopedic students. This program is partially funded by the U.S. Gov't, and the Cleveland Board of Education. Students come from Sunbeam School, Pepper Pike, Lakewood and other surrounding schools. According to Mrs. Frances Johnson, head teacher, classes are offered in advanced mathematics, music history, and physical science. Some of our graduates are doing very well on their jobs, she says. Calvin Mayfield is a pre-law student at Morehouse, Glenda Jordan is studying at Kent, and James Jordan is working in the engineering department at City Hall. We congratulate this Special Kind of a Class in a special kind of way. LEARNING HAS NO OBSTACLES- as shown by Jean-nie Horn and Rosemary Porch.
