Student Life Call it what you will Right On , Soul , Getting it Together , Doing your Thing , or Tcllin' it like it is , it all means that John Hay students want to become involved. Many students are making worthwhile contributions to the school. Student life, like anything else, can be fun as well as educational. HELLO, LET'S HAVE A CONSTRUCTIVE DAY says Jimmy Purdue, school disc Jockey and radio announcer. Examining tape are Anthony Hurt, Alonzo Watt. Ruben Crawford and Larry Booth look on. DOROTHY BARHANS AND JAMES HEMPHILL--two of the school's most active students. Dorothy has represented the school on radio and television, while James takes pride in being the President of the citywide Student Council.
