Cruise Book Staff I would like to take this opportunity to try and explain why it seems to have taken so long to produce the cruise book. I do apologize that it has taken nearly 7 months following the end of the SNFL Cruise 2000 to complete and mail off the cruise book to the publisher. As you look at these pages try realizing that each two page set you look at required a draft layout a variety of photos and then transfer of the draft to a triplicate copy and then all text had to be measured by width and length to fit into each and every text area. I tried to ensure that as many of the crew are represented here in these pages. Unfortunately, having everyone in the photos is not possible. Most of the photos you see here are the pho- tos that I took. Very few personnel contributed pictures for the cruise book. When they did, I tried to use those photos wherever I could. If there is anyone who is offended by this, I apologize, for this was not intentional. I would also like to thank Tony Mallardi for his assistance in helping me com- plete many pages prior to his release from active duty. Tony I'm sorry for there not being a picture of you here. The role of film I took of you and I working on the cruise book did not come out. Your help in this production was invaluable and I wish you well in your new career.
