MSCQSWJ SALAZAR S-2 DIVISIO S-2 division is responsible for providing the crew with appetizing and nutritious meals. The division consists of Mess Management QMSJ, Specialists and food service attendants QPSAI. MS's are professional cooks permanently as- signed, while FSA's are non-rated personnel serving a 90 day tour in food service. MS's are responsible for ordering, receipt, stowage and is- sue of all provisions served onboard. They plan ship's menues, prepare and serve all meals, and maintain proper sanitation. MS's are also tasked with keeping daily service records and preparing financial returns. PSA's assist the MS's in food preparation and mainly concentrate on the op- eration of the scullery and maintaining cleanli- ness. S-2 division also caters special functions such as fantail cookouts, picnics, and parties. As MS indicates, they strive to provide the crew with Magnificent Service. P x
