, The Colorguard really knew how to start off an award-winning year! They showed off their lrish spirit and talent by taking first place in their division at the Silverado Days Pa- rade. Some of their events included the Christmas Parade, Mount Carmel, and the Los Altos, California and Savanna Field Tournaments. Before any awards could be won, the colorguard put in many hours of practice to achieve the excellence they attained in their performances. Colorguard includes both flags and rifles. Tracy Fay was the leader of flags, and Melody Alsman led rifles. The lively colorguard represented us well in their competitive events with school pride and enthusiasm. 1.
