Bringing the news and much more 2ed by Lori Hill, editor in chief, and Mr. C, the advisor, the Shamrock staff succeeded in keeping the student body informed. They put together a monthly paper with feature articles, editorials and photos. The Shamrock highlighted the morning announcements with appeals for letter to the editor. These requests served two purposes; securing letters and tripping the speaker with tongue twisters. The Shamrock exposed readers to a world of knowledge and prepared the audience for the world to be entered after high school. Photographs: 1. The many faces creating the Shamrock. 2. Dare to be different t he Irish campus | went through I ' some terrific changes this year. With student council ' s motto, Dare to Be Different they did just that! Their main concern was upgrading activities for everyone at Kennedy. While keeping up the traditional Spirit and Irish Weeks, class competitions, and peppy assemblies, council improved the noon time activities and made the school dances even more exciting by obtaining disc jockeys who appeal to the majority of the student body. All of this was planned in a valiant effort to uphold the traditional Fighting Irish spirit. Photographs: 1. Ron Rabune and Debbie Gast give mixed reviews. 2. Mr. C. 3.
