6g«M4pe Seniors. There is nothing like knowing that only one year, a mere two semesters or four quarters, remains. To the class of 1983, the final year beckoned great feelings of expectancy, ex- citement, and even a mixture of regret. The senior year was a time to appreciate the moments of relaxing and socializing with buddies in the Senior Circle, and cheering and chanting, hooting and hollering at the assemblies. The pressures of graduation included applying to colleges, taking requirement tests, and maintaining that G.P.A. While the seniors wished the good times, the dances, the football games, and the assemblies, would go on and on, they anticipated the challenges of life after gradua- tion. 18 Get Up Go

It ' s Everything But Partytime This is the place for celebrating This is the crowd that ' s facinating This is the time for concentrating to hear some words worth translating by The Go-Go ' s With only a thimbleful of rambunctious staff members, the Eternal Flame diligently toiled on creating a traditional, yet original annual. With the help and the use of so-called imaginations, vivacious Elliot Schnek, and serious editor June Oyama, the staff succeeded in completing all the hectic deadlines. Despite the overwhelming and endless strives and struggles for uniqueness, the Eternal Flame kept their sanities. With high spirits and hard work.
