memes i Baseball This season the Baseball Team once again had to face a tough schedule both in the league and with independent opponents. The team was led by the pitching of seniors Fernando Cosme and Steve Ranieri and the hitting of outfielder Chuck Mignone. The highlights of this season were consecutive one run decisions over two of Kennedy's toughest opponents, Lyndhurst and Don Bosco Tech. Basketball The 1973 edition of the Kennedy Basketball Team was once again very competitive in its own league and against some tough independent squads. The team was led by senior center Vincent Harris, and forwards Fontaine Dantzler and Ralph Rogers. The highlight of the winter season was the irst round victory in the State Tournament over local rival Passaic County Tech, on a last second shot by junior guard Elvin Mickens.
