l am indeed pleased and proud to he the principal of John Burroughs Senior High School. There are over some four hundred puhlic high schools in our state. They all have similar facilities - classrooms, cafeterias, auditoriums, athletic fields, etc. What makes them different are the people inside. We at John Burroughs, are hlessed with an outstanding staff and an exception- al student hody. This, with the support of parents and the Board of Education, make Burroughs one ofthe top high schools in the state. As a result, our academic, vocational, and extra curricular programs are the envy of many. You should he proud of the fact that you are members of the John Burroughs High School student body.
