Tegeer 41 Howard Ward 30 Craig Watters 42 Leo Webber - Greg Wells 38 jeff Wells 32 Mark Zelda 80 Pat Mullen Sophomore coach Merle Stone and his assistants, Bill Long and Tony Dastalfo feel that this year's sophomore teams chances are as good as anyone's to win in the league. We have more size than we have ever had in a sophomore group, said Coach Stone. lf we play to our size we will be super. An- other plus for us is that we have more boys on the squad than in recent years and they seem very willing and anxious to learn. The sophomore team will have a fine running attack led by Mark Zelda, Duff Dyer, and Doug Pritchett at fullback with Don Aguilar at halfback. Other players who will be leading the offensive are jim Reynolds and john Stocker at quarter back, Tom Bradin and Richie Davies at wide receivers, Dave Amarente at center, Bob Kerns and Randy Kissel at guards, and Bob Aguilar and Curtis Singleton at the tackles. Some of the players who will lead the defense are Dan Leggett, jim Kalisz, Pat Rogers and Luis Ruano in the secondary and Doug Pyrnes at middle guard. Others are Tom Parker and Kevin Burke at ends, jeff Mohan and Bob Aguilar at tackles, and Tom Braden as line backers.
