The purpose of the organization is to promote friendliness and school spirit. Girls, League sponsors many activities such as the Mother-Daughter Ban- quet and a car wash. Each P.E. class elects one repre- sentative and one alternate. They attend the meetings, held once a week, and then report to their clas- ses the ideas and future plans of Girls, League. Some of our new girls at the New Girls' Tea seem to be talking things over. 1 s i 1 I-lere,s a large group of new girls getting acquainted at the New Girls, Tea held in the Senior Patio. Who has the best team in the land? A taste of raspberry and a bit of whipped cream as coach KEN TADA bravely held his breath to be served some pie in a high spirited skit presented by the Song Leaders. 32 School spirit was sailing through the air on yells and cheers and being ab- sorbed by an enthusiastic student body during the first football rally held September 24. Think Spirit was the theme that the Yell Leaders and Song Leaders attempted to impress on the students to motivate them into high spirits. Many people spend many hours planning the rallies to create school spirit. 2 1 Coach BOB DUNIVANT, at the rally, spoke of the determination ofthis year's mighty Indians.
