students enjo a variety of activities Boys' Council is made up of president, vice- president and certain representatives from each grade level. They are responsible for the football programs, and handle the bal- loon concession for the Burbank-Burroughs football game. They sponsor the Fall, Basketball, and Spring banquets each year. in previous years Boys' Council has allowed for each senior who has lettered in his sport to receive a free meal at the banquet. This year their budget made it possible for them to provide a free dinner for all boys who lettered, re- gardless of class. Depending upon their funds at the end of the year, Boys, Council awards two or three scholarships to those seniors most deserving. Le Cercle Francais CFrench Clubj is open to students in second or third year French to learn more about France, the French people, and their language. Paul Smith, Bob Hutchison, Monty Ohren, Eliud Garcia and Mr. Richard Zucker build another bridge over the Student-Teacher gap by conversing openly at one of the Student- Faculty meetings. filfsi ii f sf 'i Virginia Crockett, Craig Wood, and our exchange student from France, Domi- nique Brabec, enjoy a few minutes out of their busy school schedules to relax at the A.F.S. The purpose of the organization is to promote friendliness and school spirit. Girls, League sponsors many activities such as the Mother-Daughter Ban- quet and a car wash. Each P.E. class elects one repre- sentative and one alternate. They attend the meetings, held once a week, and then report to their clas- ses the ideas and future plans of Girls, League. Some of our new girls at the New Girls' Tea seem to be talking things over. 1 s i 1 I-lere,s a large group of new girls getting acquainted at the New Girls, Tea held in the Senior Patio.
