Thinking of come back, the Indians go on warpath After pitching the ball Tim Molina 1105 blocks for Jess Talamontes 1221 on a power sweep. Jim Gailbraith 1895 gains extra yardage against Crespi in thelndians first game of 1970. Torture! That is what you can call what our team goes through each summer in preparing to represent our school on the gridiron. Practice begins the last week of August. During Practice the team does drills until t ey drop. They hit sleds, bags and each other. What takes it even worse is the Boiling sun, sweat, and Pollution. By the time they reach their first game they have gone through enough agony to kill a person. When they step on the pit this year they are led by All-League retumees, BOB LOYA and GLENN BEAUBIEN, The explosive offence will be run by Quarterbacks KENT WHITESEL and TIM MOLINA. The running backs are swift JESS TALA- MONTES, JOHN VOSSMEYER, JON FUNK and JOHN BARNHART. Our fine group of re- ceivers, who hope to hit pay dirt many times this year, are BRUCE WALLACE, ART IBARRA, TIM DURNBAUGH JEFF BOYSEN and DAN MARTIN. Ready to open holes through the enemy are BOB LOYA, JAY ROMINE, DAN SAN- TOYO, MIKE CURTIN and MARIO LUJAN. This years Defense will be extremely hard to score upon. Ready to oskie opponents arrials are DAN MARTIN, GLENN BEAUBIEN, DAN OSSELLO, and DARRELL HIXON. The stickers are MIKE HINCHCLIFF, ART REPOLA, JEFF WARD, ART IBARRA and BOB SHEFFIELD. The start- ing teams are made up of mostly seniors who hope to prove something to the entire student body and Foothill League. Down goes Jon Funk 1243 after a short gain against Blair.
