Winning all of their first four meets, they hope for an undefeated season. Headline swimmers this year are Alan Pinson, George Lewis, Larry Rittmiller, Dick Bopp, and Mark Buss. Starting out in low, the Bees and Cees hope to get into high by the start of the season. Al- though this first season was a learning one, Burroughs Water Polo players fought hard and showed great potential against highly rated schools. Varsity s t and o u t s were George Lewis, Ed C-ullekson, and Larry Rittmiller. The Bees were led by Doug Thompson, Scott Kelly, and Mike Norris. Cees were led by Pat Mc Ginley and Brad Bridges. All of the games proved to have many exciting moments for all involved. Many hidden talents were brought out in this first year of Water Polo. Not pictured are Bruce Polidori and Steve Tidik. 1 f Guiding the Golf team for the '68 season was GEORGE BOONE. The Golf team started off slowly this year by losing their first two matches to Muir and l-loover. Against Pasadena they showed their true style, and won. On the move, now, they are looking forward to the Optimist, Foothill League, and C.I.F. Tourneys. Many of last year's players, such as Rick Curtis, john jacobson, Les Barton, Alan lhle, Mike Dockhorn, Larry Melideo, and Bruce Polidori, have returned this year. Supporting the sophomore clubmen, Steve Tidik, Gary Cates, and Kevin Anderson. Coaching the Golfers again this year is George Boone. He hopes for a fine season, and really believes the boys can do it. With their experienced players, and enthusiastic new players, the team will be striving for honors.
