Building A ction Q F Plenty of action was takingplace at the end of last year in the s cience building. Six classrooms were being completely remodeled with the latest in laboratory equipment and facilities . For the convenience of the students, new lab t ab le s were installed, each with individual p owe r supplies . The new scientific facilities include micro- wave apparatus, stroboscopes, analy- tical balances with cas es , a sonar demonstrater, and new power supplies and optical devices, including an in- terferometer. The science department was alsogiven new audio visual equip- ment which includes a motion picture projector, a film strip projector, an overhead projector and a single con- cept projector with film. A student- project dark room with enlarged store - rooms and glass cases were built be- tween the r e m o d e 1 e d classrooms . Yes, it is true-john Burroughs is where the action is, and the science building proves it!
