Our administration is composed of as sistant principals Miss Dorothy Burke, Allen Richardson, and William Moritz. Their decisions affect many Rebels both directly and indirectly. In a school as large as John Adams, an administration that functions efficiently is necessary. Such is the tradition at Adams. Mr. Moritz joined us last September from the coaching staff at John Mar -shall High School. During the same month, Mr. Richardson assumed his new capacity. Together with Miss Burke, our main office has molded all the fine traditions the school wishes to maintain. ADMINISTRATION

DR. MICHAEL P. EFFRON, PRINCIPAL TO THE GRADUATES: Graduation from high school should never mean that your education has been completed, even if you do not plan to go to college. GUIDANCE The primary function of the Guidance Department is to help each person to gain a better understanding of himself so that he may function more effectively in everyway. This includes helping students, through testing and individual consultation as well as group meetings, to understand their strengths, and weaknesses, enabling them to be able to work to best advantage in school and to plan realistically for the future.
