Q- -i... Mr. R. J. Langstaff Principal On behalf of our faculty and student body I would express to the Scolfonian staff our appreciation of their efforts in preparing our I955 yearbook. To select and to preserve for memories the best of a school year is an interesting and challenging task. They have performed this task well. Our yearbook begins with the pictures of individualsg it ends with the pic- tures of groups. Such is the order of our growth within our school and within our society. Few of us would ever be satisfied with only the pictures of ourselves as individuals. The development of individual capacities must always be com- pleted by the contributing and merging of individual abilities in group action. Our deepest pride in Scott is based upon the pictures it presents of indi- viduals of different races, nationalities, creeds, and abilities-planning, coop- erating, and working together in groups for common purposes. l wish our world could do as well.
