Advisory Staff To keep the play moving along at a proper pace an advisory staff is necessary. Much of the success of all activities which have taken place throughout this past school year can be accredited to four people. Skillfully performing their duties are Mr. R. I. Langstaff who advised the finance commissiong Mr. Thad Corbett who steered the pub- licity commissiong Miss Margaret Schaff who assisted the social commissiong and Mrs. Louise Meffley who guided the assembly commission and the organization commission. Patrons Skillfully playing their roles as sponsors of a great production, the members of the Scott High Parent-Teachers Association have shown deep interest in all activities pertaining to our Mr. Willard. Mr. Lflngxfaff. Mr. Sewell, Mfr. Flemirzg, MU. Beck, Mr. Rogerr. IVlr.r. Briefe. School. , They got underway early last fall by electing officers. Mr. Herbert Sewell became president, the Rev. W. L. Horst vice president, Mrs. A. H. Haslam secretary, and Mr. H. R. Rogers treasurer. The officers were assisted by Mrs. Herman Greene, membership chairman, Mrs. Waldo Beck, chairman of room mothers, Mrs. Clifford Fleming, publicity chairman, and Mr. Homer Willard, budget and finance. Programs of this year were planned for their timely interest. At one meeting Dr. Anthony Bo- rowski, Superintendent and Registrar of the Bureau of Vital Statistics spoke on the function of a city health department. The P.-T. A. sponsored a demonstration by General Motors, Preview of Progress, which revealed recent scientific discoveries and included a miniature atom explosion. The Preview of Progress was held over as an assembly for students the following day. The P.-T. A. also made plans for the Spring Musical featuring the Scott High School music depart- ment.
