The English Department this year dealt with writing techniques and reading. The many courses included The Novel, Creative Writing, Journalism, Drama, Mythology, and Speech. Under the quarter system, students chose the English courses that suited them personally and, hopefully, professionally.  Ii ■ TIME LINE Studies this past year focused on both the modern aspects and the earlier periods of history. New fields of study opened doors for many students. Understanding and the appreciation of other nations helped students comprehend principles and values of their own nation. The different classes of study included Map Skills, Africa, Mid-Bast, Today’s News, Ethnic Studies and Urban Studies. UPPER Some study, some talk!
