This year the counseling staff here at Jenkins planned to let the whole student body know of the services available to them. With the cooperation of the teachers, they planned visits to individual class- rooms in hopes of talking to more students to find out their problems and needs. Un- der the supervision of Mr. Jack Fowler, head counselor, Mrs. Janet Argroves, Mrs. Melissa Miller, and the secretary, Mrs. Ter- rie Mehlhorn, Jenkins has produced one of the most efficient counseling staffs ever. 19

United We Stand What could happen when an organization started for and maintained by parents and teachers was invaded by students? What could happen when years of experience and knowl- edge were given a sudden boost of energy and idealism? The P.T.S.A. happened, and the re- sults were pleasing to all. The members of the P.T.A. were never lacking interest in their children’s school, but now they have inside information, and the student's point of view.
