Since his entrance here in the tenth grade, our class presi- dent has been a member of the FFA and has served as secretary, and at present is President, He has lettered in Basketball and Football and hopes to graduate from college, He was voted Most Talented Boy, sings with FFA Quartet, Dear old High School, Now we 're leaving To the world we go But we'll not forget your teaching Be it ever so, Chorus- Firm, United, Strong, and True ALMA MATER this our watchword be as you taugnt us to Faithful always to thee. SENIORS BETTY JEAN WILLIS is President of FTA, and a member of FHA, Glee Club, and a former Beta member, She was very active in helping with the 1952 Miss Iemison Contest, She is on the school paper staff and one of the candy girls, JAMES ROY SMITH fSmittyj was with us only a year and a half, but in that time he was FFA reporter, a Beta member and annual staff worker. He also took an active part in Football and Bas- ketball, We regret that he found it necessary to transfer from our school to Verbena, JANETTE MIMS LITTLETON is another owner of a Mrs, Degree, She graduated last summer and is now working and living in Birmingham, JAMES ARTHUR WALDROP thinks Jemison is the best school he knows. He has been a big help to teachers in duplicating tests and other types of work, He is a member of FFA and has worked on the PANTHERGRAM two years. LLOYD GERALD SAMPLE has spent his entire school life here at Jemison, He has been Assis- tant Treasurer and Treasurer of the FFA, and is a member of the quartet. He says he wants to be a bachelor! RUBY NELL POSEY flop, This tall slender blond has been at Jemison eight years, She is an FHA member and is preparing for a secretarialposition by taking a commercial course, DOLLIS JUNIOR RAY fDarlingJ, This deep-voiced student has been with us since September, 1951. He participates in FFA and drives a school bus, His ambition is to graduate this year, WANDA FAYE WILLIAMS--a future nurse, a con- scientious student, who entered tihs school in 1949. She is an active FHA member and a valu- able member of the PANTHERGRAM Staff, SENIORS GERALD RAY, California lost him to us in 1950. He is always handy to run errands and is a very interesting conversationalist, In the future he plans to join the Air Force. DORIS EVELYN PETERS fPee Weep has taken part in almost everything, She is President of Beta Club, Treasurer of FHA, Editor of the Annual, Typist for the school paper, and is one of the Cheerleaders, She is one of the fastest typists in school, her early future plans include stenogra- phy--later she will be a housewife, She was voted Most Courteous.
