GERALD BENJAMIN COSSEY first came to Jemison in 1943 As a baseball player he has lettered for three years, This FFA member says that he wants to be one of the best sailors the navy has, SHERRILL FAYE ASHCRAFT DOWNS has already won her Mrs, degree, Her manner is quiet and her speaking voice very pleasant to hear, She was in the 1952 Beauty Contest, ALBERT ARNOLD COX fAlboj has a most pleasing personality, Since his entrance in 1948 he has participated in FFA work, He was Vice President, After he finishes school he wants to be a good soldier. WILLODEAN EDWARDS QDeanj, with her sparkling wit, has been a zealous student. She has been an active member of the FHA and Beta Club, Her many honros include being Vice President of Beta Club, member of PANTHERGRAM Staff, She sold more ads than any other member of the Annual Staff, SENIORS CECIL DOUGLAS CLECKLER fDougJ, whose ambi- tion is to finish college, has been with us since the tenth grade, He has been assistant reporter for the FFA and has lettered in baseball two years: also an outstanding football player, GERALDINE COBB Uerryy, a brown-eyed cutie, who wants to be a secretary, has been, with us since 1943. During her years here she has been reporter for the FTA and PANTHERGRAM, and member of FTA. CHARLES RELIUS COBB fFreakj is the PANTHER- GRAM'S answer to Dizzy Dean, He has partici- pated in football, baseball, and basketball, and hopes to play basketball at Auburn some day. The students voted him Most Popular, ' PEGGY LOUISE COST fSuziej is small in stature and busy as a bee, She has been FHA President, Beta Club Treasurer, Senior Class Secretary, Cheer- leader, member of PANTHERGRAM and Annual Staffs, and FHA Quartet, She was voted Most Popular and Best All Round.

BILLIE SUE BURGESS fLeftyj voted Most Intelligent, has had a full schedule, Since 1950 she has been a member of Beta Club and Glee Club, secretary of the FHA , artist for the school paper and annual, Her ambition is to become an art and Music teacher, JOHN ROBERT CANNADY fCannacyl, This soft- speaking football co-captain has many times shown his sports prowess in football and baseball, His club membership since his entrance in 1949 has centered around the FFA, He hopes to be an engineer, NELDA ANN CHILDRESS, a speedy an-d accurate typist, plans to use her skill as a secretary. She is a candy girl for the seniors, typist for the PAN- THERGRAM, and has actively taken part in the FTA and FHA, EARL WAYNE CHANDLER is a very quiet senior whose interest centers around music. He has re- ceived a band letter and has been a member of the Glee Club, A year after his entrance here in 1948 he joined the FFA. SENIORS SARA FRANCES BLACK fFrankiej was voted Most Likely to Succeed and Most Dependable, Since her entrance in 1950 she has been a member of the FTA. Glee Club, and secretary of the Beta Club, She is editor of the PANTHERGRAM, and senior editor of the annaul, HOWARD ONEAL ARLEDGE fBuckl, whose ambition is to become a salesman, is an active FFA mem- ber, He was President of 4-H and was awarded a medal for leadership, All of his school years have been spent here. MARY ELLEN BLACKMON, In 1941 she entered and has spent many busy years, She is a Beta member, and faculty editor of this ann ual, a member of the PANTHERGRAM Staffg county re- porter for the FHA. DONNY WADE BEAN. the Most Courteous Senior, entered IHS in 1950. He is an FFA member, and his skill in basketball has warranted him his letters. His tall stature enables him to be a valuable basketball player, He is an FFA member and is quite handy in the Vo-Ag Building, ANNIE SUE GLASS was voted Harvest Queen of '52, Treasurer of Senior Class, FHA member, and has proved a conscientious member of the PAN- THERGRAM Staff.
