The Spring Executive Board worked hard to accomplish a very important task-that of revising the constitution to lit the require- ments of a changing, expanding school. Due to the fact that voting methods were so confusing, plans were made to use voting machines for coming elections. One recommendation which the Board is con- sidering is the setting up of a juice box in the cafeteria. It has been suggested that dancing lessons be given at the school at night. The Board was responsible for rearranging the trophies in the case in the gymnasium. The managers of various theaters in the vicinity of the school have been consulted by Board members as to the possi- bility of reduced admission prices for jefferson students. In addition to its regular Tuesday meetings, the Board is meeting every third Aj , ' N-via. week before school so that honorary members can be informed of - the business of the preceding meetings. , , RAY SETTRINI, Spring Student Body President.

As soon as school started, the board authorized the sale of student body cards, and for the second consecutive semester, every regis- tered student at Jefferson obtained a card. During the semester a motion was approved that one Block J card be issued to the out- standing boy athlete and the outstanding girl athlete of the semester. The card entitles the holder, for life, to admission to any sports event at Jefferson. The board appointed publicity managers to announce games and school activities. These managers were also responsible for the exhibits in the halls during the semester. The Executive Board declared a Camera Week, during which students took candid shots of school activities for the yearbook. The Board also approved the Art Club's constitution, and so authorized its activities. During the semester, representatives from Jefferson were invited to attend a Student Conference meeting, where they gained valuable experience through the exchange of ideas with other schools. Bos LAZZARINI, Fall Student Body President
