What is the most popular sport at Jeff High School? What is an activity at .leff everyone participates in? Take three guesses. You're right, it's eating food! But then that's nothing surprising. It seems as if teenagers and food were made for each other. Almost any restaurant you walk into. Chris Skiver and Lisa Horton anticipate a hot crispy piece gf cheese pizza at Arni's after a Jeff football game you can find a fellow Jeff student chowing down. And there is a restaurant to fulfill almost everyone's appetite. For the hungry person, McDonald's offers the famous Big Mac. Taco Bell is the place for the person with the spicy tongue. The sweet-toothed person can be found lounging at Frozen Custard, Baskin Robbins, or perhaps even at Wendy's with a Frosty. And to satisfy the little bit of Italian in most everyone, Pizza King and Arni's offers a wide variety of Italian dishes. These places are just a few of the many available here in Lafayette. But for those students who have limited funds or are confined to school grounds, the school cafeteria serves as a retreat for a good chow down. Now that could be one of the greatest understatements ever written, for we gain an unbounding amount of knowledge at Jeff due to our excellent facilities and well-trained faculty, Not many other schools can boast about a planetarium, a radio and television studio, an enormous auditorium, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and a well-equipped Instructional Materials Center. Does this list need to continue? And how many other schools can provide adequate training for students interested in either vocational or professional fields? Don't waste too much time thinking, because you surely won't be able to name very many. Can many other schools say that they offer such a wide variety of classes such asf senior foods, aerospace. computer math, electronics, calculus, dramatics, drafting, music theory, honors English, and visual design? That list will be even shorter than the first. Now, don't we, as students of Jefferson High School, have a right to be proud of our outstanding facilities and say, Hey, look at usl We're learning our stuff. ?
